If you cannot read my Lithuanian home page with the correct letters, I have a few tips for you based on my own experience.

WINDOWS 95/98

Microsoft Internet Explorer

  1. First try this - click anywhere in the text on my Lithuanian home page with the right hand button of the mouse. If you are lucky, you will now see "languages" or "code" as one of your possible choices. Go there and choose "baltic for windows" (or the corresponding text in the language of your browser). Now the page will appear as I wrote it.

  2. If that does not help, your browser does probably not support this language. Please go to the Microsoft Home page at http://www.eu.microsoft.com/ie/download/.   Choose the type of browser you use and download the "multilanguage support".

  3. You should now be able to follow the steps (under 1) above.

Netscape Navigator

Open "edit" and "configuration" (at the bottom). Click on "languages". You are now able to choose languages to add from a list. Some earlier Netscape versions do not have the possibility to add Lithuanian.

Good luck - and please let me know if you have any further tips or comments.
